Girls Soccer Roundup: Lady Braves earn first win

WATERVLIET - Sarah Krzys and Cassandra Egelston each scored twice to lift Fonda-Fultonville to a 5-3 win over Watervliet in a Colonial Council girls soccer game Tuesday.

Heather Trasky also scored for the Lady Braves, who improved to 1-6 overall and 1-6 in Colonial Council play.

Ailayia Demand scored all three goals for Watervliet.

Ashley Hulbert made six saves to post the win in goal for FFCS, while Jessica Cunningham and Brianna Durkee combined to make 10 saves for Watervliet.

Big 10

Amsterdam 1, Schenectady 0

AMSTERDAM - Diana Constantine scored the game's only goal to lift Amsterdam to a win over Schenectady at Lynch Literacy Academy.

Monica Rouse assisted on the goal for the Lady Rams, who extended their unbeaten streak to four games.

Cassandra Robataille made four saves to earn the shutout win in goal for Amsterdam (3-4-1 overall, 2-1 Big 10).

Center State Conference

Dolgeville 2, Old Forge 0

OLD FORGE - Emily Young and Courtney Rachon each had a goal and an assist to lead Dolgeville to a shutout win over Old Forge.

Kaylie Darling made eight saves to post the shutout win in goal for the Blue Devils (3-4 overall).

Shelby Egnaczyk made five saves for Old Forge (1-6 overall).
