Boys Soccer Roundup: Mayfield rolls past St. Johnsville, 8-1

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Dylan Toscano scored four goals to power Mayfield to an 8-1 win over St. Johnsville in a Western Athletic Conference boys soccer game Monday.

Jordan Ryder registered a goal and two assists for Mayfield (4-2 overall, 3-2 WAC), while Todd Briggs, Colden Glover and Matt Messina also scored.

Josh Ivancic and Brandon Smith each had two assists for the Panthers, while Tyler Yacano finished with one assist.

Dakota Mereness scored the lone goal for St. Johnsville (6-3 overall, 4-3 WAC), which was outshot by a 23-5 margin.

Northville 1, Canajoharie 0 (OT)

NORTHVILLE - Brad VanNostrand scored seven minutes into overtime to lift Northville to a shutout win over Canajoharie.

David Onzo assisted on the game-winning goal for the Falcons (3-2-1 overall, 3-2-1 WAC).

Tim Monette made three saves to record the shutout win in goal for Northville.

Canajoharie slipped to 1-7 overall and 1-6 in WAC play.

Mekeel Christian 1, Fort Plain 0

FORT PLAIN - Kenny Aderounmu scored the game's lone goal to lift Mekeel Christian to a shutout win over Fort Plain.

Chris Hanifin made 12 saves for Fort Plain (6-2-1 overall, 5-1-1 WAC).

Galway 3, Sharon Springs 0

GALWAY - Josh Bailey, Taylor Hartman and Jay Oakes scored to lead Galway to a win over Sharon Springs.

Zach Hartman had two assists for Galway (6-0 WAC).

Northern Soccer League

Keene 3, Wells 1

KEENE?- Keene posted a 3-1 win over Wells.

Wells slipped to 2-4 overall with the loss.
