Girls Soccer Roundup: Northville, Bulldogs play to 2-2 stalemate

NORTHVILLE - Each team scored in both halves as the Northville Lady Falcons and Berne-Knox-Westerlo battled to a 2-2 tie Friday in Western Athletic Conference play.

Kelly VanNostrand and Veronica Arceri each scored a goal for the Lady Falcons (3-1-2 overall, 3-1-2 WAC) and Mary Ryan had an assist. Joanna Schulte made 17 saves.

Delaney Martin and Makayla McCormick each scored a goal for the Lady Bulldogs (6-0-1 WAC) and Liz Harvey made eight saves.

WAC

Schoharie 4, Mayfield 0

MAYFIELD - Seana Cleveland scored two goals, leading Schoharie to a win over Mayfield.

Hanna Bowersox and Kaitlyn Kendle also scored for Schoharie (3-2-0 WAC). Angelina Dietz and Erin VanAller added assists. Lindsey Vanier made six saves.

Jennifer Little made 16 saves for Mayfield (2-6-0 overall, 1-5-0 WAC).

Middleburgh 4,

Galway 2, 2OT

GALWAY - Kendra Wood and Taylor Cater each scored a goal in overtime, leading Middleburgh over Galway.

Amanda Roney scored two goals in regulation for Middleburgh (4-2-0 WAC) and assisted on Wood's overtime goal. Megan Hagadorn made 18 saves.

Abby Spagnola and Erica Chase each scored first-half goals for Galway (4-1-0 WAC) and Maddy Moore had an assist. Rebekah Reichard made 18 saves.

Non-league

Dolgeville 3, Fort Plain 1

DOLGEVILLE - Ashley Mettler scored two goals, leading Dolgeville to a win over Fort Plain.

Emily Young had a goal and an assist and Abigail Mosenthin registered an assist. Kaylie Darling made four saves for Dolgeville (2-4-0 overall).

Haley Kilmartin scored the lone goal for Fort Plain (2-6-0 overall) and Jenna Barhydt made five saves.
