September 22, 2012
The Leader Herald

DOLGEVILLE - The Oppenheim Senior Citizens had their regular meeting Sept. 4 with a covered dish with 34 attending.

In August the group took a cruise on the Hudson River, with lunch provided by the Culinary Institute of America.

On Oct. 1, a nominating committee was appointed and will present a slate of officers at the regular covered dish meeting at noon, which begins the time for the fall and winter months. The speakers will be Assembyman Marc Butler; and Hector Allen, the Oppenheim town historian, who will be speaking on the people of and with a past from Oppenheim.

On Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Halloween costume party will be held. A light lunch is planned with games and prizes.

Club members meet each Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to noon for coffee, social, crafts, with the exception of Oct. 31.
