Approximately 150 million people are employed and working in America.
What if we, the working Americans, took $1 a week out of our checks and had a drawing like the lottery, and have a computer draw out 200 Social Security numbers and give them the money?
The taxes out of the winnings would go and pay off the deficit. This would boost the economy, help out the housing market and could create more jobs.
After a person wins, he or she would be taken out of the pool for three years but still have to pay $1 a week.
I have asked many of my co-workers if they would be interested in giving a dollar a week, and I have been applauded for such an idea.
