AMSTERDAM - There will be a "Travel Around the World to Save JV Sports" wine and beer tasting event Oct. 11, from 4:30 to 8 p.m., at The Raindancer Restaurant.
The event is sponsored by the Broadalbin-Perth Sports Booster Club, a news release said.
Attendees must be age 21 or older.
The tickets will be $30. There also will be a silent auction.
Those interested in attending may purchase tickets at the Broadalbin-Perth High School Office, concession stands and at the Raindancer.
