AHS girls tennis remains unbeaten

AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam girls tennis team won five of six singles matches and all three doubles contests on its way to an 8-1 win over Catholic Central on Wednesday in a Big 10 contest.

Cristiana Johnson, Kristie Kaczmarek, Brittany Durose, Ella Dybas and Audrey Flint all posted singles wins for Amsterdam (9-0 overall, 7-0 Big 10).

In doubles play, Tessa Filaberto and Caitlyn Gannon, Gabby DiSalvi and Arizona Santiago, and Lucia Liverio and Latifa Woods recorded wins for the Lady Rams.

Dana Daley posted the lone singles win for Catholic Central.
