Gloversville Police looking for four people

GLOVERSVILLE - City police said today they are looking to identify four people who were on the Rail Trail around the time a robbery occurred.

Police said officers began investigating a robbery that occurred around 5 a.m. Sept. 4 on the Rail Trail, near the Regional Animal Shelter's city annex, between West Pine Street and West Fulton Street.

Police said the victim reported being approached by two unknown people. The victim said she was punched from behind and knocked to the ground, police said. Her money and cigarettes were stolen before the two ran off, police said.

Police said they are looking to talk with four people who were in the area around the time of the robbery. The four are shown off images taken from the surveillance system at the animal shelter.
