AMSTERDAM - A "Travel Around the World to Save JV Sports" wine and beer tasting event will be held Oct. 11 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at The Raindancer restaurant.
The event is sponsored by the Broadalbin-Perth Sports Booster Club, a news release said. The event will raise funds to aid junior varsity sports.
Attendees must be age 21 or older. The tickets will be $30. A silent auction also will occur.
People can purchase tickets at the Broadalbin-Perth High School office, concession stands and at the Raindancer.
