JOHNSTOWN - The family of a woman who has been missing for almost four years will hold a vigil Sept. 30.
The event will start at 9:45 p.m. at the Rite Aid on Market Street in?Amsterdam. The store was the last place Kellisue M. Ackernecht was seen, leaving her job as a night-shift manager at about 9:40 p.m. Sept. 30, 2008.
Ackernecht's friends and family will start the vigil with a prayer and then light candles. The vigil will continue until it ends at Frog?Hollow, a wooded neighborhood at the bottom of the Montgomery Street hill on the west side of the city.

The 1998 Saturn sedan Ackernecht was supposed to be driving home from work was found on fire around 1:45 a.m. Oct. 1, 2008, in Frog Hollow.
The color for the night is purple, a news release said, which was Ackernecht's favorite color, and the color for domestic violence awareness.
The community is invited to attend the event, the release said.
