Girls Tennis Roundup: Amsterdam remains unbeaten

AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam girls tennis team won all six singles matches and all three doubles contests in a 9-0 win over Bishop Maginn in a Big 10 contest Monday.

Cristiana Johnson, Kristie Kaczmarek, Veronica Marsh, Brittany Durose and Ella Dybas won singles matches for Amsterdam (8-0 overall, 6-0 Big 10). Audrey Flint won by forfeit at No. 6 singles for the Lady Rams.

In doubles play, Tessa Filaberto and Caitlyn Gannon, Gabby Disalvi and Arizona Santiago, and Lucia Liverio and Latifa Woods all won by forfeit.

QUEENSBURY - Queensbury won all five singles matches and both doubles contests in a Foothills Council win over Johnstown at Queensbury High?School.

Rebecca Sung, Sydney Scheid, Amanda Ling, Amanda Rawson and Clare Severance won singles contests for the Lady Spartans.

Megan Roop and Lindsey White won at No. 1 doubles for Queensbury, while Berlyn Barboza and Lauren Bolz won at No. 2 doubles.
