MAYFIELD - Four suspects were charged Saturday after a report of a suspicious vehicle on Route 349 led to the discovery of a mobile methamphetamine lab inside the vehicle.
State police at Mayfield said they arrested 35-year-old Tina A. Hillman, 33-year-old William H. Frye and 17-year-old Zachary R. Aldi, all of Gloversville. An unnamed 15-year-old also was charged with false impersonation and providing a false written statement.
Frye was charged with criminal possession of precursors of methamphetamine, a class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child. Aldi was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and endangering the welfare of a child. Both men were sent to the Fulton County Jail.
Hillman was turned over to Amsterdam city police, who had an active warrant for her arrest.
The 15-year-old was released to a parent with a ticket to appear in court on Oct. 9.
Troopers said no further details were available Saturday evening.
