QUEENSBURY - Stephanie Gengel had 12 service points, seven assists and two aces to lead Queensbury to a 3-0 win over Gloversville in a Foothills Council volleyball match Friday.
The Spartans won by scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-10.
Brooke Meader registered 16 points, 13 assists, five aces for Queensbury (4-0 overall, 4-0 Foothills), while Kelly McLaughlin had six kills. Katelyn Ripley added five kills and two aces for the Spartans.
Gloversville slipped to 2-2 overall and in Foothills Council play.

Holy Names 3, Fonda-Fultonville 0
ALBANY - Holy Names swept Fonda-Fultonville in a Colonial Council contest Friday, winning by scores of 25-13, 25-21 and 31-29.
Taylor Wetsky had 10 service points, seven aces and five kills for FFCS (2-3 overall, 2-3 WAC), while Cory Lais had nine service points and six aces.
