AHS girls tennis blanks Schenectady

AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam girls tennis team won all six singles matches and all three doubles contests on its way to a 9-0 win over Schenectady in a Big 10 match on Friday.

Cristiana Johnson, Kristie Kaczmarek, Veronica Marsh, Brittany Durose, Ella Dybas and Audrey Flint all posted singles for the Lady Rams (7-0 overall, 5-0 Big 10).

Johnson posted a 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 win over Schenectady's Rachel Fields, who she defeated three times last season.

In doubles play, Tessa Filaberto and Caitlyn Gannon, Gabby Disalvi and Arizona Santiago, and Lucia Liverio and Latifa Woods posted wins for Amsterdam.
