JOHNSTOWN?- The Johnstown Historical Society Museum will remain open through the end of September.
As other historical sites in the area are open later in the season, the society decided it is necessary to remain open later as well, according to a news release.
The museum, on North William Street, and the nearby Drumm House will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
The museum also is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
After September, both will be open by appointment only.
Admission is by free-will donation.
