Girls Soccer Roundup: Lady Bills blank Hudson Falls, 5-0

JOHNSTOWN - Kaitlyn Pica scored two goals, leading the Lady Bills to their second straight league win, a 5-0 victory over Hudson Falls.

Diana Horning, Megan Anagnostopulos and Jocelyn Foster each added a goal for Johnstown (2-2-0 overall, 2-1-0 Foothills Council). Ellen Praught made 10 saves.

Nicole Sheloski made 21 saves for Hudson Falls (0-3-0 Foothills Council).

Foothills Council

South Glens Falls 4, Queensbury 3

SOUTH GLENS FALLS Sam Blizzard scored two goals, including the game-winner as the Lady Bulldogs pulled out a win over Queensbury.

Shannon Curley had a goal and an assist for South High (3-0-0 Foothills Council), while Paige Howk had a goal and an assist. Sami Hubinsky had an assist. Amy Jagareski made five saves.

Brittany LaPlant scored two goals and had an assist for Queensbury (2-1-0 Foothills Council). Catherine Hand scored the other goal. Sarah O'Brien made nine saves.

Scotia-Glenville 13,

Glens Falls 1

QUEENSBURY - Sophie Constantino scored three goals and had one assist, and Maddy Carroll and Max Culhane had two goals apiece as the Lady Tartans pounded Queensbury.

Morgan Bailey had a goal and two assists for Scotia-Glenville (3-0-0 Foothills Council). Rachael Cox, Gracie Mailey and Grace Marola each had a goal and an assist. Megan McGillycuddy scored a goal and Carina Moran had an assist and three saves. Cox also made three saves. Morgan Bailey scored a goal and had two assists.

Miranda Haraughty scored the lone goal for Glens Falls (0-3-0 Foothills Council).

Fonda-Fultonville 1

FONDA - Abby Kortz and Meghan Loiselle scored a goal each, and Cohoes defeated Fonda-Fultonville.

Maddie Dupuis made 12 saves for the Lady Tigers.

Cassandra Egelston scored the lone goal for Fonda-Fultonville (0-4-0 overall, 0-3-0 Colonial Council). Guilyan Okosky made 14 saves.

Mohawk 3, Dolgeville 1

DOLGEVILLE - Mohawk got two second-half goals to defeat Dolgeville.

Mia Lopez, Noel Newkirk and Johna Cusworth each had a goal for the Mohicans (2-1-2 overall, 1-0-1 CSC). Alicia Ceneviva made four saves.

Ashley Mettler scored for Dolgeville (0-3-0 overall, 0-2-0 CSC). Kaylie Darling made 12 saves.
