GLOVERSVILLE - The city Police Department said a teenager knew a young child was injured but made no attempt to seek medical attention.

Edward A. Rowback III, 19, of 8 William St., was charged Wednesday with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, after an investigation.

Police said the investigation began Feb. 3 after reports of a sexual assault of a juvenile male younger than 2. Police said during the investigation it was learned the child sustained injuries related to the assault while under the care and supervision of Rowback.
