Donald F. ‘Cliff’ Clifford

Donald F. "Cliff" Clifford, 80, a resident of Bleecker Street, Gloversville, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at the Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. He was born on September 26, 1931, in Gloversville, N.Y., the son of the late Floyd and Jesse Jenkins Clifford.

He was a graduate of Gloversville High School and was a United States Navy veteran, serving from 1950 to 1951. He was employed as a machinist for Curtin-Hebert in Gloversville for fifty-five years.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Travis Clifford of Gloversville; four sons, Donald Clifford of Amsterdam, Myles Clifford (Aggie) of Gloversville, Harold Clifford of Canajoharie and Steven Clifford of Gloversville; one daughter, Pam Ray of Gloversville; seven grandchildren including Stacey Rulison (John), Shandi Dickenson (Shawn) and Jason Clifford; two great-grandchildren, Ian Fitzpatrick and Kaleb Dickenson.
