WENHAM, Mass. - The Nichols College women's tennis team blanked host Gordon, 9-0, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference opener for both lineups on Tuesday.
Amsterdam graduate Anna Dyakiv, a junior at Nichols, posted a 6-0, 6-2 win over Gordon's Lily Drescher at No. 1 singles.
Dyakiv also teamed with Lindsay Benoit to post an 8-1 win over Drescher and Sarah Hickey at No. 1 doubles.
Nichols (3-3 overall, 1-0 Commonwealth Coast Conference) will host Wheaton on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
