Kathleen M. "Kay" Fuller, 88, the former owner of Fullers Corner Store in Edinburg, died Sunday, September 9, 2012, in Torrington, Conn. She was a resident of South Shore Road, Hadley, with her grandson and spent several months of each year, in Torrington, Conn., with her granddaughter.
She was born in Cohoes, N.Y. on September 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Keefe Williams.
She worked many years ago at Ellis Hospital, Slim's Markets and was well known as the owner and operator of Fullers Corner Store in Edinburg, retiring in 1978.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles "Bob" Fuller in 1992; and her son, Robert N. Fuller in 2007.
Survivors include her brothers, Edward "Ned" Williams and John "Jack" Williams; grandson, Gary R. Fuller and his wife, Kathryn J. "Hall" Fuller of Hadley; granddaughters, Kimberley S. "Fuller" Brown and her companion, Christopher Palmer of Torrington, Conn., and Kristie "Sanders" Thomas and her companion, Holly Zelenkewich, of Saratoga Springs; great-grandchildren, Alex Fuller, Harlan Fuller, Luke Sanders, Julia Sanders and Joey Palmer. She also had extended family located in the Schenectady, N.Y., area.
She was predeceased by her husband; her son; as well as two brothers, William "Billy" Williams and Charles "Charlie" Williams.
Friends may call on Friday, September 14, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home, 401 Bridge Street, Northville, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be held in Edinburg Cemetery, Edinburg.
