Boys Soccer Roundup: Queensbury slips past Gloversville

QUEENSBURY - Jimmy Doty and Liam Mulshine scored to lead Queensbury to a 2-1 win over Gloversville on Tuesday.

Justin Wickson and Chris Goodemote each had an assist for the Spartans (1-4 overall, 1-2 Foothills).

Thomas Kirk scored the lone goal for Gloversville (0-3 overall, 0-3 Foothills).

Pat O'Mara made six saves for Queensbury, while Nick Cirillo made 15 stops for the Dragons.

South Glens Falls 4, Glens Falls 0

GLENS FALLS - Cody Kostrzebski scored twice to lead South Glens Falls to a Foothills Council win over Glens Falls,

Blake Snyder and Devin Hazewski also scored for the Bulldogs (2-0-1 Foothills), while Luke VanDixhorn had two assists. Kyle Ogden add an assist for the Bulldogs.

Gabe Alagna made six saves for Glens Falls (1-3 overall, 1-1 Foothills).

Colonial Council

Fonda-Fultonville 6, Cobleskill 1

COBLESKILL - Tom Lyons scored four goals to lift Fonda-Fultonville to a win over Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Nick Battisti and Matthew Leesuksam also scored for the Braves (1-2 overall, 1-2 Colonial), while Jake Hentnik added an assist.

Dylan Tracy scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs on an assist from Jared Almy.

Tyler Folmsbee made 11 saves to earn the win in goal for FFCS. Nick Bird made 14 saves for Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Big 10

Amsterdam 2, LaSalle 1

AMSTERDAM - After falling behind 1-0, Amsterdam rallied for a win over LaSalle at Lynch Literacy Academy.

Connor Kilgallen tied the game in the 61st minute on a penalty kick for Amsterdam (3-1 overall, 2-0 Big 10).

Taliq Sims scored the game-winning goal for the Rams on an assist from Andrew Druziak in the 67th minute.
