DOLGEVILLE - After rain halted Saturday's game at halftime, the Dolgeville football team held off Mohawk, 21-12, in a Section III Class D East contest Monday.
The Blue Devils led 14-12 at the break on Saturday when rain and thunderstorms pushed the second half to Monday.
The Dolgeville defense kept the Mohicans scoreless Monday, while the offense got a 15-yard touchdown run from Jason Nastovski.
Nastovski finished with 62 yards on 10 carries. Austin LaVeck, who scored on a 7-yard run on Saturday, led Dolgeville with 93 yards on 19 carries. In his first varsity start, Johnson was 2 of 5 passing, including a 40-yard touchdown to Alex Johnson in the first quarter.
Zakk Zuranski had a 76-yard touchdown run in the first half for Mohawk (0-2 overall, 0-1 Class D East), while Carson Murphy added a 32-yard touchdown pass to Mike Santillo as time expired in the first half.
