DAY - A 57-year-old Caroga Lake man died after a motorcycle accident Sunday on North Shore Road.
Paul R. Burgess died at Albany Medical Center Hospital after the accident at 2:13 p.m., according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities said Burgess was operating a 1997 Harley-Davidson southbound on the road trying to maneuver a curve when he struck a guide rail and was ejected.
Burgess sustained serious injuries and was flown to Albany Medical Center where he later died, authorities said.
The accident remained under investigation this morning.
The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by the Edinburg Fire Company and Jessups Landing EMS.
