We first met Judge Clo when a community group we are members of needed a helium tank for an event. Clo allowed our group to use his tanks without any hesitation. He delivered them to us and walked us through how to use them. He refused to take any money for their usage; he said he was just doing his part for the community.
Over the next several years, whether through a school activity or a community event, we could always count on Clo to allow us to use whatever he had. Whether it was a helium tank, a popcorn machine, or anything else, he was always there to help us out. Many times if he was available, he would bring his equipment and run it for us. He never asked for any recognition for his donations or work, he was just doing his part to make Gloversville a better community.
Last spring we received a call from Clo in which he said he needed a favor from us. Clo came to our house and asked if we would be willing to manage his campaign for City Court judge. Without a second thought, we readily agreed to help the man who had always been there to help us.
Like Clo, we do not seek out any publicity for the community work we do, we do it to make Gloversville a better place to live. We believe in Judge John Clo and that his experience will make Gloversville a better place. We ask for your support and your vote for Judge Clo in the Sept. 13 Republican primary and in the Nov. 6 general election.
