AHS girls tennis tops Catholic Central, 8-1

TROY - The Amsterdam girls tennis team won five of six singles matches and all three doubles contests on its way to a Big 10 win over Catholic Central on Friday.

Cristiana Johnson, Kristie Kazmarek, Brittany Durose, Ella Dybas and Audrey Flint each won singles matches for the Lady Rams.

Tessa Filaberto and Caitlyn Gannon won at No. 1 doubles for Amsterdam (3-0 overall, 2-0 Big 10), Gabby Disalvi and Arizona Santiago won at No. 2 doubles and Lucia Liverio and Latifa Woods won at No. 3 doubles.

Dana Daley won at No. 3 singles for Catholic Central.

Doubles

No. 1: Tessa Filaberto/Caitlyn Gannon (A) def. Sarah Barhold/Amanda Larkin, 6-2, 6-2.

No. 2: Gabby Disalvi/Arizona Santiago (A) def. Jerrison Forant/Lynsey Farar, 6-1, 6-2.
