AMSTERDAM-State police said a traffic stop Tuesday led troopers to find drugs in a vehicle.
James F. Gollinger, 58, of Amsterdam, is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and having a controlled substance in a non-original container.
Troopers said Gollinger was pulled over on Miami Avenue in Amsterdam for not wearing a seatbelt. A search of the vehicle found 3.5 grams of hash, 4 grams of marijuana and a hydrocodone pill not in its original container, troopers said.
Gollinger is set to appear in the Town Court on Sept. 13.
