DiMezza can help the city

September 6, 2012
The Leader Herald

This letter is written in support of Traci DiMezza, a candidate for Gloversville City Court judge.

Traci represented me in a personal matter last year. She accepted the case, even though I believed I had little chance of success. She also waived her retainer and worked essentially for nothing. In fact, that was why her name was given to me in the first place, because she is known for her willingness to help people, like me, who have met with difficult financial times.

DiMezza was able to resolve my issues, and in a way that I could never have even hoped. Traci has a gift and a talent for the law. I suppose it is her ability to work well with others, her persistence and her dedication to her client's cause. That's the best way I can describe her, as a person and as a lawyer.

Gloversville deserves a City Court judge who has the skill to control the courtroom, make decisions in a fair way, the ability to communicate with people and hopefully make a difference in people's lives. I know she would do a good job. I think it's important to elect someone who has the ability to work within the law and follow the law but can make decisions that make a real difference.

Please consider Traci DiMezza as the right candidate for Gloversville City Court judge.
