JOHNSTOWN - On Oct. 14, the Holy Trinity Rosary Society and the Holy Trinity Men's Group will sponsor a roast pork dinner, followed by a talk by Beth Lynch, a Kateri Tekekwitha historian from the Martyrs' Shrine in Auriesville.
Lynch will talk about the life and upcoming canonization of Blessed Kateri Tekekwitha to sainthood.
The community is invited to attend. Dinner will begin at 1 p.m.
Reservations are requested and tickets are available at the parish offices, 207 Glebe St. Tickets also are available through Rosarians and Men's Group members. The cost for the dinner and presentation is $8 a person or $20 for a family.
