PALATINE BRIDGE - Trinity Lutheran Church, located on Route 10, will have a drive-through chicken barbecue on Sept. 15 starting at 3 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will help defray the cost of maintaining the church cemetery, a news release said. The cemetery, located on a parcel of land behind the church, contains monuments dating back to the late 1700s. The earliest gravestone dates to 1752, the release said. The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
