JOHNSTOWN - The Adirondack Velo Club's first annual cyclocross race will take place Sept. 23 at Johnstown High School.
Cyclocross cross combines off-road bicycling with running over various obstacles.
Racing will start at 9 a.m. for the amateur racing categories and concludes at 2 p.m. with an informal fun race for everyone. There will also be a kids race and a bounce house.
