AMSTERDAM - Bob Cudmore's Nero Publishing Company has announced its September "seed money" donations to four charities.
A $25 contribution will go to each of the following:
-The Horace J. Inman Senior Center of Amsterdam.
-Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
-The Walter Elwood Museum of Amsterdam.
-Shriners Children's Hospital, of Springfield, Mass.
The small donations come from sales of Cudmore's history book, "Stories from the Mohawk Valley." The charities are being publicized this month on Cudmore's radio show.
From April through August, a total of $500 in "seed money" donations were made to 20 charities. In 2011, $1,200 from the sale of "Stories from the Mohawk Valley" went to a dozen local non profits.
Cudmore encourages others to support the charities he highlights with his donations.
