So many times, I've received a phone call saying someone died and asking if I could help adopt out their cats? Sure. I'll never refuse, but what about the people who die and their cats are just let outside to fend for themselves? The cats do not understand where Mommy or Daddy went and why their bellies aren't full anymore.
Please, if an elderly family member has pets, make provisions for them or call to have them adopted out to good homes. Thank you.
