GLOVERSVILLE - City police said a local bartender was arrested after detectives saw the man serve several underage patrons.

Doug Anadio, a bartender at Doc's Remedy Inn, was charged with Friday with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a minor.

Police said they received numerous complaints regarding the bartender serving minors on a regular basis. Police said on Wednesday they received information a group of teenagers would be at Doc's Remedy after an event at Royal Mountain.

Police said detectives conducted surveillance of the establishment and witnessed Anadio serve several underage patrons. Police said officers verified the ages of the patrons served and confirmed they were younger than 21 and were not asked for identification from Anadio.

After completing the investigation, a warrant was issued by Gloversville City Court Judge John Clo. Police said Anadio was arrested on the warrant at Doc's Remedy on Friday.

Anadio was arraigned in City Court and released. He is scheduled to appear on another date.

Police said the investigation is still open and more arrests are expected.
