Lawrence and Gina Lachmayer Jr. of Johnstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Lachmayer, to Matthew Baird, the son of Ronald and Yvonne Baird of Mayfield.
Lachmayer is a 2004 graduate of Johnstown High School and received a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2008 from Liberty University. She is employed as a home finder for Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth.
Baird is a 2000 graduate of Mayfield High School and recently received a bachelor's degree in theology in from the Christian Life School of Theology. He is self-employed as a financial adviser.
