JOHNSTOWN - The Glove Cities Colonials celebrated their 50th anniversary with a golden victory Saturday night at Knox field.
Colonials quarterback Frank Cintron and Jason Quinn hooked up for a pair of touchdown passes to lift Glove Cities to a 14-9 victory over the Utica Yard Dawgs in the opening round of the Northeastern Football Alliance playoffs.
Glove Cities advances to the NFA East division championship game against Troy's Fighting Irish on Sept. 8 at Schenectady High School.

Cintron finished the game with 146 yards and two touchdowns in a 9-for-23 throwing effort.
Javon Jones led the Colonials defense with eight tackles.
