JOHNSTOWN - All three Gloversville City Court judge candidates filed to run as independent candidates, assuring they will be on the ballot in November no matter the outcome of the Sept. 13 primary.

The Fulton County Board of Elections' weeklong independent petition process concluded Tuesday afternoon.

Among those filing as independents for the Nov. 6 general election were incumbent Gloversville City Court Judge John N. Clo and challengers Traci DiMezza and Matthew E. Trainor. The three will face each other Sept. 13 in both Republican and Conservative primaries.

Also filing as independent candidates were Linda Montana and Mary Jean Wall, who are running for town of Oppenheim justice. They will face Republican candidate Peter Stone in the general election.
