Jeanne A. Oliver, 61, of Gloversville, died suddenly Sunday, August 19, 2012. She was born in Virginia, the daughter of Irvin and Jane Garnett Oliver. Jeanne was an avid pet lover who worked at the Handy Up & Down store in Johnstown as a clerk. Survived by her sisters, Rose (Richard) Stewart of Gloversville and Christen Penley of Amsterdam; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012, 11 a.m. in the new section of Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Amico Funeral Home of Gloversville is assisting the family with arrangements.
