Carleton "Bud" D. Perham, age 79, of Gloversville, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at home after a brief illness.
Born June 29, 1933, in Gloversville, he was the son of the late William Perham and Nellie Smullens Perham.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Perham was a self-employed carpenter until his retirement.
He was a member of the Gloversville American Legion Post 0137.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Perham; two sisters, Doris Horton of Northville and Betty Green of Meco; two sons, Brian Wilson and Richard Wilson; three daughters, Julie Wilson of Gloversville, Deanna (Ron) McIntyre of Mayfield and Nancy (Joe) Sowle; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Snyder; two brothers, Richard Perham and John Perham.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. The Dr. Rev. R.W. Williams will officiate.
Visitation for friends and family will be on Thursday, prior to the service, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the King Northampton Cemetery.
