Bleecker Town Hall to get new carpet

August 19, 2012
The Leader Herald

BLEECKER - The town plans to spend about $600 on new carpeting for the Town Hall.

In addition, several insulating window shades will be purchased to help regulate temperature year-round.

The money for the carpets and shades is in the budget, officials said.

"Whatever is left will get returned to the general fund," Town Supervisor David Howard said.

In other business, the town is looking for someone to replace Building Inspector David Edwards, who plans to retire this year.

Edwards will continue to serve until a new person is hired, Howard said.
