STILLWATER - Town police said they arrested a Northville man on multiple charges Saturday, including a felony after he fled from a traffic stop.

Francis A. Lee, 28, reportedly fled from police during a traffic stop where he was being charged with operating a vehicle while having a suspended registration and license.

Officers said they found Lee less than 24 hours later at a residence in Hemstreet Park in Rensselaer County where he was arrested without incident.

Police further charged Lee with second-degree escape and said they found he also was wanted by Cohoes police for multiple felony charges.

Officers also charged Christina N. McLaughlin, 33, of Mechanicville with a felony count of hindering prosecution for keeping Lee at her residence while knowing he was being pursued by police.

Both Lee and McLaughlin were arraigned in Town Court and later moved to Saratoga County Jail. Lee is being held on $10,000 bail bond, and McLaughlin is being held on $2,000 bail bond.
