Help made social a success

August 14, 2012
The Leader Herald

I would like to give thanks to those who made our ice cream social a success.

First, to Price Chopper and Walmart for their generous donations. Next, to Paul Nestork of Evergreen Construction and Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home for tents, which helped shield us from the storms that made our event interesting. Thanks also to the Peck's Lake community for its generous pies, cakes and brownies, which are the backbone of our social. Also, thanks to the volunteers who come to serve all the great food.

No ice cream social would be complete without ice cream generously donated by Stewart's Shops, which has given to our event over the years.

Last, but not least, thanks to all who attended. Our wonderful museum will live another year thanks to you.
