CAROGA LAKE - Royal Mountain Ski Center hosted a two-day Monster Energy Drink racing weekend Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday night, 110 supercross riders fought through a heavy track caused by torrential downpours. Sunday, 298 riders turned out under clear, blue skies to battle for Central New York Motocross Riders Association points over Royal's motocross track.

Six local riders claimed victories in Saturday night's special Monster Supercross event.
Gloversville's E.J. McAuliffe won the quad novice division over Broadalbin's Colby Watras.
Amsterdam's Katharine Hoyt and Geoffrery Hoyt finished one-two in the quad schoolboy 12-to-15-years-old modified division, while Mayfield's Jordan Miller won the mini quad 50cc production event.
Fonda's Tyler Blowers placed first in the mini 80cc 9 to 11-years-old division and the 65cc 7 to-11-years-old division.
Johnstown's Adryan Pelosi won the 122-open Amateur division, while Zack Kollar topped the field in the 122-250cc Amateur division.
Also turning in strong efforts Saturday night were Gloversville's Ronnie Christman (third/50cc senior stock), Charles Rose (fifth/50cc senior stock), Johnstown's Brandon Handy (third/Jr. Mini 9-11; fourth/65cc 7-11), Johnstown's Casey Battisti (fifth/open mini), Amsterdam's Jeremy Tittemore (Plus-30 Amateur), Caroga Lake's Jacob Danyew (fifth/122-250cc novice) and Fonda's Clayton Blowers (third/Plus-30 expert).
Canajoharie's Ricky Lippman picked up the victory Sunday in the 122-250cc novice division and placed fourth in the school 12-to-16-years-old competition.
Tyler Blowers and Handy finished one-two in the junior mini 9-to-11-years-old division, while Handy won the 65cc 10-to-11-years-old division with Blowers placing third.
Other local riders turning in strong runs on Sunday were Gloversville's Adam McAuliffe (fourth/Plus-25 quad), E.J. McAuliffe (fourth/quad novice), Johnstown's Jason Morrison Jr. (fourth/mini quad 50cc beginner), Amsterdam's Matthew Hirschfeld (third/mini quad 51cc-90cc production), Johnstown's Bennett Melita (fifth/50cc junior stock 4-to-6-years-old), Pelosi (fourth/collegeboy 14-to-24-years-old) and Battisti (fifth/open mini 10-to-16-years-old).
The riders will return to the Royal supercross course Wednesday night. Practice will start for the night's event at 7 p.m.
