Nancy Bowers of Gloversville announces the engagement of her daughter, Beth A. Bowers, to Kevin E. Hill, the son of Mark Hill (Angela) of Ephratah and Ann DeVore of Seminole, Fla.
Bowers is a 2004 graduate of Gloversville High School, a 2008 graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta, Otsego County, with a bachelor's degree in childhood education, and is earning a master's degree in Christian education. She is employed as a substitute teacher for the Rome City School District in Rome, Oneida County.
Hill is a 2007 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 2011 graduate of Clarkson University with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and physics. He is employed as a bioprocess associate at Bristol Myers-Squibb, Syracuse, Onondaga County.
