On?Aug. 2, we had the opportunity to attend the 25th annual senior picnic at the Concordia Club in?Gloversville. It was a wonderful, well-organized event that we both enjoyed.
Music, beverages, a nice meal, dessert and prizes were provided. It was nice to see so many smiling faces and to have the ability to meet and renew friendships. The vendors were friendly and helpful. Everyone worked so well together, providing a wonderful experience. If you are a senior and never attended, next year, make an effort to attend; you won't be disappointed.
Kudos to Andrea Fettinger, her staff, the volunteers and all the people who worked so hard to make this picnic a success.
I encourage everyone to support the Office for Aging; it is of great benefit to our seniors.
