GLOVERSVILLE - A bedbug problem within two apartments in the Forest Hill Towers complex is being taken care of via a pest-control contract the housing agency has with an exterminator.
Money for pest control services is included within the housing agency's budget.
"We are aware of it and we have responded to it," said Daniel Towne, executive director of the city's public housing developments.
About two weeks ago, the department received word from a resident about a bedbug problem, he said.
"We have provided information sessions and training to our staff and to our residents," said Towne. "We encourage residents who think they might have an issue with bedbugs to contact us as soon as possible."
