Letter writer Lawrence Horowitz is very wrong.
Ben Franklin stated, "To give up freedoms for security, you give up all your freedoms." That is why constitutional amendments such as the fourth and fifth were made.
Too many people are willing to give up their freedoms for a false sense of security, which they will never receive.
