Mary H. McMillan, age 86, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.
Mary was born on November 27, 1925, in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Clyde Hayner and Helen Crum Hayner.
She was a 1943 graduate of Johnstown High School and also attended the Gloversville Business School.
Mrs. McMillan was employed at Lee Dye and also the Navy Depot. Mostly she was a homemaker taking care of home and children.
She attended the Johnstown Reformed Church.
On June 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to Richard McMillan, who survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Gary (Sherri) McMillan of Rotterdam and James (Debbie) McMillan of Johnstown; one daughter, Judith (Frank) Rizzio of Johnstown; one sister, Carol (Mike) Keefe of Scotia; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a son, Richard McMillan; and a bother, Robert Hayner.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. The Rev Brian Dykema will preside.
Family and friends may call on Thursday prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Johnstown Cemetery.
