PALATINE - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said a 22-year-old man injured his sister and mother at 198 Caswell Road on July 30.
Stephan C. Phetterplace was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, two counts of second-degree unlawful imprisonment and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
The sheriff's office said a deputy responded to a call after Phetterplace punched his sister in the mouth and bit her back. Phetterplace also held his mother to the ground during a fight before the deputy pulled him off and restrained him, the sheriff's office said.
Phetterplace was being held at the Montgomery County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Town Court on Aug. 14.
