In regards to the city of Johnstown being in need of funding for equipment and other vehicles: It is absolutely necessary to update and keep up those items.
They said it best: "... we have to give them the tools to work" and "If you fall too far behind, it's very difficult to catch up."
Too bad they don't feel that way for individuals, just municipalities. They spend countless dollars to fence in property with beautiful anchor fencing, and they allow other taxpayers to use city land free for their own business or for parking. Is the city collecting money for the use of its land? How about the businesses that have had to shut down, which means tax money that could have been used toward new equipment? Oh wait, that's favoritism, but not if the city chooses who they can allow to use city-owned property.
