Noel Ann Dylong is finally at peace after entering into rest on July 24, 2012, in Richmond, Va. with her daughter Wendy by her side.
She was born in Salamanca, N.Y. on December 12, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Mabel Clemons Krantz and Leon Krantz. She had five brothers and two sisters. Marcia Shinners of Ohio, Gary and Donn Krantz of Salamanca survive her.
She is survived by her four children, Wendy of Midlothian, Va., Jamie currently serving in the U.S. Army in Germany, Kathy of Rhode Island and Mark of California.
There are no words to express the love she had for her three grandsons, DJ, Johnny and Michael. "Gramu" was always cheering them on whether it was at a soccer or baseball game, band concert, school events or just playing Scrabble. Her greatest joy was going places and doing things with her grandchildren.
She raised over 15 Guiding Eyes for the Blind Guide Dogs and was active in the Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Literacy Volunteers and helped out on many political campaigns.
Her last request was to donate her body to the Virginia State Anatomical Program to help in the teaching process of medical students.
